He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva M. Gulledge Simmons and Harold L. Simmons; and his wife Janell Spangler Wolfe Simmons. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Sandra S. Mitchell, Sharyn J. Gregory (Stephen) and Marsha Davidson (Craig); and his aunt Ruth McDonald.
