It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julie Ann Gilcrease Boyett of Dodson, Louisiana, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Blanchard Gilcrease and Betty Mae Stroud Gilcrease; and her siblings, Jimmy Whisonant and Doris Nugent. She is survived by: her husband Donald Ray Boyett of Dodson, Louisiana; her children, Donald Boyett, Jr., Judy Cosby (Chuck), Christy Griffin (Danny) and Suzette Hoffpauir (Mickey); her grandchildren, Sam (Brooke), Logan, Ben, Nolan (Cheyenne), Cassie and Rose; her great grandchildren, Noah and Kinsley Grace; her siblings, Noah, Glenn Doyle Gilcrease and Jackie Eubanks; and her pet Lola.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cypress Creek Baptist Church (2365 LA-505, Dodson, LA 71422). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
