She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee R. Ayres and Allie Davis Ayres; her husband Walter Lynn James, Sr.; her siblings, Lee R. Ayres, Jr., Lavelle Ayres, Leslie Carl Ayres, Doris Ayres, JoAnn Smudericks and Linda Tamborella; and her grandson Justin Daniel James.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Hanson (Troy), Cathy Gray (Terry), Tony D. James (Linda) and Walter Lynn James, Jr. (Lisa); her siblings, Ray Ayres, Jerry Ayres (Geraldine) and Barbara Sweeny (Ronal); her grandchildren, Quinton Gray, Tanya Gray, Destiny James, Zachary James, Ragen Martin and Brent James; and her great grandchildren, Brett, Skylar, Grason Wiggins, Luke, Addisyn, Drake, Cash James, Jaleigh, Brody Martin, Bethany Gray, Tyler, Jace, Hadley James and Barrett Bradley Martin. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
