It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Bolen of Dodson, Louisiana, born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bo Ballard and Sallie Bishop Ballard; and her husband Robert Bolen. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Green (Danny) of Dodson, Louisiana, James Michael Bolen (Gay Lynn) of Spring, Robert K. Bolen (Patty) of Centerville and David Joe Bolen (Cassy) of Humble, Texas. She is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
