He was predeceased by: his son Roger L. Nugent, II; his parents, Ralph "Tinker" Nugent and Mary Lea Nugent; and his siblings, Ralph Nugent, Jayne Driggers, Robert Nugent and Jerri Parks.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Lowery Nugent; his children, Jill Zahner (Richard), Johnna Durham (William) and Cody Oertling; and his sisters, Judy Pierce (Mike), Jan Corley (Henry) and Jackie Cole. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren; his 6 great grandchildren.
