She was predeceased by: her parents, James Willard Smith and Joycie Marie LaPrairie; her stepfather Walter LaPrairie; her sisters, Jessica Elaine Smith and Vickie LaPrairie; and her stepbrother Mark Deville.
She is survived by: her children, Dillon Smith of Eunice, Dustin Long of Natchitoches, Kristy Moses (Joe) of Pineville, Ashley Malone (Jason) of Deville and Lakin Moses of Eunice; her sisters, Marietta LaPrairie (Leon) of Deville, Angie Dodge of Deville and Sheila Smith of Hessmer; her grandchildren, Jonathan Ryder, Colton Lemoine, Sawyer Malone, Barrett Galland, Eli Moses, Canaan Moses, Taylor Harrison and Aubree Richard; her great grandchild Clay Ryder; her stepmother Gladys Smith; her stepsisters, Tina Alphonse and Pam Roszell; and her friends, Dwayne Bertrand and Bruce Long. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Crossroads New Life Tabernacle (1001 LA-1207, Deville, LA 71328). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
