She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ryder and Rosa Ryder; her husband Marlin M. Ryder, Sr.; her daughter Nelwyn J. Brown; and her brother Hosea M. Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Marlin M. Ryder, Jr. (Sue) of Deville, William H. Ryder (Karen) of Prairieville, Robert M. Ryder of Deville, Ava J. Ryder of Deville, Belva J. Crain (Allen) of Deville and Karen J. Barbat (Mike) of Deville. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
