He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Lee and Nona Lee Hooper Jenkins. He is survived by: his brother Pineville; his wife Haydee Figueroa Jenkins; his children, Alvaro Jenkins (Rosa), Yuly Hadwin (Joshua) and Yudy Douzart (Shawn); and his siblings, Ronnie Jenkins (Mae) and Elaine Jenkins.
