He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottie Mae Deville Poston and Bolton Drewitt Poston; his significant other Mary Alice Davis Poston; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Cooper and Frank Millican.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Burkett (Dewayne), Cathy Kelly (Jimmy), Kenny Davis (Kim) and David Poston (Evonne); and his siblings, Leroy Poston (Debra), Kenneth Poston (Barbara), Evelyn Millican and Marjorie Ducote. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Baptist New Pew Fund in memory of the Poston family.
