With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Glenda Sue Ryder of Deville, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Glenda left this world on December 29, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Durward Wilson (Shorty) and Thelma Wilson of Pineville; her husband Troy Dempsey Ryder, Jr. of Deville; her sister Virginia Wilson; and her daughter Sheryl Lynne Ryder Craig of Deville.
She is survived by: her son Troy Glenn Ryder of Richmond Virginia; her grandchildren, Josh Craig (Amber), Chesley Floyd (Darron), Carly Mayeaux (Dustin) and Sydney Ryder; her great grandchildren, Zachary of Deville, Piper of Deville, Berkley of Deville, Harlaux of Deville and Beckett of Deville; her sister Lucille Wilson Craig of Alexandria; and her sister-in-law Alice Doss. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 5:00 PM and on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Magnolia Funeral Home, Center Point Chapel (620 E Bryant Rd, Center Point, LA 71323).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials or donations be made to the Buckeye Youth Board or the American Stroke Foundation.
