With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George M. Cunningham (Deville, Louisiana), born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on April 1, 2019 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George M. Cunningham to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Cunningham and Mae Belgard Cunningham; his daughter Karen L. Cunningham; his sister Louise Cunningham Tanner; and his daughter-in-law Voncille Jones Cunningham.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Smith Cunningham; his sons, George Cunningham Jr. (Cindy) of Kolin, Malcolm Cunningham (Connie) of Hardin, Gregory Cunningham (Pattie) and Scott Cunningham (Sherry) of Conway; and his brother Jack Cunningham of Brooklyn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 620 Beauregard Street, Alexandria, LA 71301.
