He was predeceased by: his wife Louellen Lawson; his son Kirby Lawson; his parents, Thomas Lawson and Ora Dempsey Lawson; and his siblings, Thomas Lawson and Mary Morgan.
He is survived by: his daughter Kristi Lawson Dauzat (Tommy); his grandchildren, Adriona Lawson (Daniel), Dalton Schast (Serena), Dustin Sanders (Laken), Dakota Dauzat, Jesse Dauzat, Kayla Dauzat and Andrew Dauzat; and his great grandchildren, McKinlee, Hudson, Isabelle, Aiden, Chandler, Francine, Evan, Haiden and Jayce. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
The family has designated the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 3100 Samford Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71103, for memorial contributions.
