The memory of Metha Rodrigue Forest (Destrehan, Louisiana), who passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 66, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Metha may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Metha touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda L. Rodrigue, and Tennyson Rodrigue, Sr.; and her grandmothers, Charlie LeBlanc and Rene Rodrigue. She is survived by: her godchildren, Angela P. Hagedorn, Stephen Rodrigue and Danielle R. Roy; and her friends, Bob, Barbara and Bonnie Bourg. She is also survived by nephews, as well as their spouses and 17 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (13396 River Rd, Destrehan, LA 70047). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery (13396 River Rd, Destrehan, LA 70047).
