He is survived by: his parents, Eric D. Smith and Virginia Schwandt Smith. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eric Jr.'s honor can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and / or the American Red Cross – Hurricanes Milton and Helene.
