She was predeceased by: her mother Kathy D. Vanacor; and her grandparents, Edward, Una Vanacor, Leroy and Shirley Dubois.
She is survived by: her husband Jody Dufrene; her children, Jordan Dufrene and Brianne Dufrene; her grandchildren, Benton Dufrene, Braxton Kehrer, Gia Dufrene and Evie Dufrene; her father Malcolm "Bum" Vanacor, Sr.; her brother Malcolm "Mickey" Vanacor, Jr. (Christie); and her godchildren, Heather Ledbetter and Mali Vanacor. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (15405 US-90, Paradis, LA 70080). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (343 Down the Bayou Rd, Des Allemands, LA 70030).
