We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2024, at the age of 91, Ronald T. Matherne of Des Allemands, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Keith Matherne; his parents, Dewey Matherne and Alverta Dufrene Matherne; and his siblings, Willie Matherne, Susan Adams and Deborah Tregle.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey Rodriguez Matherne; his children, Karen Boyer (Lowell), Thaddeus "Ted" Matherne (Carolyn), Seth Matherne (Christine) and Dirk Matherne (Gay); his daughter-in-law Miriam Matherne; and his sisters, Miriam Abadie, Opal Dufrene, Berdie Mahan and Fay Aucoin. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
