He was predeceased by: his daughter Brooke Anne Matlock; his parents, Andrew Johnson, Jr. and Evelyn P. Johnson; and his brothers, Bobby Lester and Andrew C. Johnson, III.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa P. Johnson; his children, Robert Hopkins (Stacey) and Amy Thibodeaux (Kris Hardwick); his grandchildren, Heather Nicole Hopkins, Ava Brooke Thibodeaux, Owen Charles Thibodeaux and Mackenzie Nicole Hardwick; and his nieces and nephews, Amanda Champagne, Blair Champagne, Andrew Lester and Bobby Lester, Jr.. He is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers donations to Wounded Warrior Project are preferred.
