Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shafer and Julia Shafer. He is survived by: his wife Tammie Rena Shafer; his sons, Zachoree Shafer and Bailey Shafer; his godson Dylan James Millis; his stepsons, Richard Nahki (Mindy), Christopher Rolison (Christy) and Strison Garcia; his grandchildren, Asher and Simon; and his sister Julie Shipman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Falgout Funeral Home - Raceland (3838 LA-1, Raceland, LA 70394). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Allemands Mennonite Church (17447 Old Spanish Trail, Des Allemands, LA 70030).
