She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll W. Prather and Dezzie Sistrunk Prather; her husband Raymond J. Roy; her grandson Matthew E. Roy; and her siblings, Carolyn Louise Fritsche, Mary Catherine Prather, C. W. Prather Jr., R. K. Prather and Jimmy Prather.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Joseph Roy (Betsy) of DeRidder; her sister Nell Lester of Stonewall, LA; her grandchildren, Renee Roy Hansen (Chris) of Houston, TX and Jeremy Roy (Ashley) of DeRidder, LA; her great grandchildren, Caden Hendricks and Maylee Roy; and her children, P. O. Box and Monroe. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
