She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Eugene "Bud" Bailey; her children, Elmer Hargrove, Susan Pauline Bailey and Rhoda Arleen Daniels; her siblings, Ruth Davis, Addis Weldon, Gladys Barmore and Lavelle "Buddy" Johnson; and her parents, Johnny Johnson and Mary Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Foster of Dequincy, Rick Bailey (Dorie) of DeRidder, Sherry Ellison (Fred) of DeRidder, Rodney Bailey (Kayla) of DeRidder, Kim Ott (Frank) of DeRidder, Pam Bailey of DeRidder, David Bailey of DeRidder and Randy Bailey (Chasi) of DeRidder; and her close friend James O'Reilly. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Myers Colonial Funeral Home (3178 US-190, DeRidder, LA 70634). A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
