He was predeceased by: his wife Cora Mae Tyson; his parents, Iron Tyson and Irene Tyson; and his siblings, R. L. Tyson, T. J. Tyson, Arnie Tyson, Sybil Wilson and Dorothy Whittington.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond Tyson (Jackie), Misty Willis (Joseph Ford), Melissa Smith (Mark) and Patricia Walker of Rosepine, LA; and his grandchildren, Kayla Young, Mark, Danielle Sonnier, Stephanie Tyson, Wesley Estes, Amanda Lindsey, Timothy Williams, Lakken, Cora Tyson, Dustin Smith, Lindsey, Shane Smith, Victoria, Cheri Loftin, Curtis, Brent Walker, Kaloni, Morgan Cantrell and Cameron. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
