He is survived by: his wife Nelda Blanchard of Rosepine, LA; his children, Wesley Ray Blanchard (Regina), Jeff Blanchard (Jordan), Lisa Angela Simon (Steven), April Dawn Bevers (Johnny), Amy Rochelle Rodriguez (Tito) and JoAnna Rose Pierce (Tracy); his grandchildren, Billy Ray Collins, Andrew Christopher Burns, Paige, Stephanie Treme, Chad, Kade West, Melody Fortner, Winston, Nikki Blanchard, Wesley Blanchard, II, Pauliena, Luke Blanchard, Emerald DesJardins, Gilmar, Karen Henandez, Rocky, Taylor Campbell, Nathan Blanchard, Marcus Blanchard, Autumn Blanchard and Doug Bevers; and his great grandchildren, Kayla, Anthony, Tryton, Anniston, Scarlett, Oaklynn, Wyatt, Kylee, Elaina, Aria, Dakota, Delilah, Matthew, Chloe, Gia and Gracie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Myers Colonial Funeral Home (3178 US-190, DeRidder, LA 70634). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (6492 1st St, DeRidder, LA 70634).
