With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Maul (Deridder, Louisiana), who passed away on February 3, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandson Eric Neil Maul; his parents, John Christian and Tressie Alva Slaydon Maul; his siblings, Kenneth Merle Maul and Marie Rose Pasquale; his son-in-law James Dennis; his wife Johnnie Mae Edwards Maul; and his children, Sharon Faye Maul Dennis, Kenneth Elmer Maul (Susan) and Roy Alan Maul (Cindy). He was also cherished by five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

“I was about 8 years old when I met Mr. Leroy Maul. From that time to this I’ve always thought of him as one of the good men I will remember. My parents thought a lot of him and Mrs, Johnnie. I remember the domino games between them. Lots of coffee and rig talk. My memories of Mr. LeRoy, and his family, like the memories I have of my own parents, will be memories of the greatest strength I’ve ever witnessed and at the same time....a deep and abiding tenderness. Forever etched in my memories, in my heart, my history. May the family find peace, comfort and consolation in the ever present love of the Father. My deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers.
