He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Lee Rodriguez and June Evelyn Dockery; his stepfather Paul Dockrey, Sr.; and his siblings, Linda Dockrey, Mary Evelyn Haynes, Paul Dockrey, Jr. and Richard Lee Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Rodriguez of DeRidder, LA; his children, Floyd Rodriguez, Jr. (Bopete) of DeRidder, LA, Willis Rodriguez (Michelle), Anthony Rodriguez (Cherilyn), Lois Rodriguez Self (Stephen) and Richard Self of Anacoco, LA; his siblings, Grady Dockrey, Sr. (Stephanie), Dennis Rodriguez of Denham Springs, LA, Carolyn Yancey of New Llano, LA, Doris Goins of Rosepine, LA, Patricia Dockery of DeRidder, LA, Delores Guillory of St. Francisville, LA, Juanita Warner and Lois Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Shade, Buddy, Tristen, Blake, Kaisha, Gavin, MaKenna, Blaise, Brayden, Kayelyn, Stevie, Skyleigh and Korbyn; his great grandchildren, Phoebe, Dewayne "Roe" and Lennon; and his pet Piss Willie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myers Colonial Funeral Home (3178 US-190, DeRidder, LA 70634). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
