She was predeceased by: her children, William Joseph Welch and Julie Christine Welch; her granddaughter Dana Lynn Sherman; her parents, Edovice J. Conner, Sr. and Lulia Bertrand Conner; and her siblings, Edovice J. Conner, Jr. and Anite J. Conner Corbello.
She is survived by: her husband Morris "Sluggo" Welch; her children, Peggy Scantlen (Gary) of Palacios, TX, Melissa Welch-Ball of Silsbee, TX, Linda Green (Jerry) of Breckenridge, TX, James Welch (Tammy) of White Oak, TX and Patricia Welch of Rochester, NY; and her siblings, Alvin Conner (Gloria) of Lake Arthur, Berton Conner (Barbara) of Thornwell, Kenneth Conner (Diane) of Toledo Bend, Erron Conner of Grand Lake, Norma Price (Franklin) of Lake Arthur, Linda Hanson (Tom) of Walker, Sandra Kelley (J. C.) of Baton Rouge, Marie Higginbotham (Larry) of Walker, Tessie Johnson of Boca Raton, Jeanette Conner of Baton Rouge and Bertha Fruge'. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
