He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Mitchell and Olla Lee Mitchell; and his siblings, James Mitchell, Ruby Mitchell Blanchard, Jackson Mitchell, Paul Mitchell and Jerry Mitchell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Danielle Mitchell (Hanson) and Genna Gibson (Dennis); his grandchildren, Chloe Gibson and Mason Mitchell; and his sister Margaret Clark. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home (1810 W Fourth St, DeQuincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
