It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Socorro Garza (Dequincy, Louisiana), who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband E. Cole Garza; her parents, Fermin DeLeon and Consuleo Salas DeLeon; and her brother Alfonso DeLeon. She is survived by: her daughter Christie Garza; and her brothers, Fermin DeLeon, Jr. (Martina), Jose Deleon (Angela) and Frank DeLeon. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
