Sherman Ray left this world on January 15, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Guillory and Marlene Moore; and his sister Debra Dear. He is survived by: his wife Evonne Langley Guillory; his children, Amber Veuleman (Cory) and Josh Guillory (Haley); his grandchildren, Landry, Eli, Jamie, Cooper, Daniel and Branson; and his siblings, Sharon Gary, Terry Guillory (Myra), Connie Tuttle (Jackie), Kevin Guillory (Leanne) and Russell Guillory (Shirley). He is also survived by other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (543 Marcantel Rd, Dequincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Newlin Cemetery.
