With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Selest V. Kendall (Dequincy, Louisiana), who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George Kendall; her children, Mary Lee Kendall and J. T. Kendall (Janice); her great grandchildren, Rylee King and Tyler Elston; her great great grandchild Corey Williamson; her parents, John Pierre Vige' and Alzora Pitre Vige; and her siblings, Herman Vige', George Vige', Frank Vige', John Vige', Jr., Gladys Berry, Leona Marcantel, Stella Ortego and Katie Dunham.

She is survived by: her children, Lois Holley, Judy Bennett, James Kendall (Gayle), Joan Hunt, George Winston (Cassey) and Jerry Lee Kendall; and her sister Vera Gipson. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 51 great great grandchildren; 9 great great great grandchildren.
