With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Gene Kubala Sr. (Dequincy, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his daughter Joanie Kubala; his grandson Taylor Kubala; his parents, Ted Kubala and Millie Kubala; his father-in-law Ellaweise Lambert; his siblings-in-law, Dalton Lambert and Joyce Kubala; and his cousins, Candace Penny and Karen Rice.

He is survived by: his wife Sammie Lambert; his children, Ronald, Andra Kubala, Roland, Rita Kubala, Julie and Darryl Smith; his grandchildren, Michael, Brad, Ron III, Desiree, Jordan, Jasper, Austin, Sam, Tyler, Bret, Dallas, Jacey and Bethany; his siblings, Milton Kubala, Halton (Gray Lambert), Alton (Brenda Lambert), Rev. Elton (Pam Lambert), Sharon Lambert and Janet Lambert; and his cousins, Dr. Royce, Shelia Strickland, Diane Flood and Kelli Rice. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
