It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Olivarez Jr. (Dequincy, Louisiana), who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Ray Olivarez, Sr.; and his brother Pete Olivarez. He is survived by: his mother Dora Alvarez (Felix); and his siblings, Margie Obregon (Joe), Biatris Rizvi, Henry Olivarez (Sarah), Irma Haygood (Jeffrey), Rachel Sandoval (Ruben), Reynaldo Olivarez (Yessina) and Manuel Alvarez (Susan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
