We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2021, at the age of 76, Myrtice Bartrella Standley (Dequincy, Louisiana) passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Mae Henagan Alston and Roy Alston; her husband Rev. N. W. "Bill" Standley; her grandparents, Leitha Henagan (Ma) and Edgar Henagan; and her siblings, Doris Lyons, Charlotte Marcantel, James Roy Alston, Joel Eugene Alston and Kenneth Ray Alston.

She is survived by: her stepchildren, John Shoemake (Julie), Mike Shoemake (Beth), Susanne Richoux (Fred), Roxanne Rosson, Lyanne Hunter (Steve) and Joanne Holzen (David); her sister Judy Barrow (Thomas) of DeQuincy; and her sister-in-law Genevia Alston of Glenmora. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
