It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ruth Smith Henagan (Dequincy, Louisiana), who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude L Smith and Hazel Cooper Smith; her former husband Mayor L. A. Henagan (Buddy); her son Gary Eugene; and her niece Bartie Standley.
She is survived by: her husband Buddy Henagan; her mother-in-law Letha "Ma" Henagan; and her close friends, Ima, Buggy Stains, Ruth Rushing, Brenda, Preyfus Ware, George Smith, June Alston and Sandra Cardozier (Dale).
Masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
