She was predeceased by: her husband Lealon Cooley; her father George E. Kendall (Selest Vige Kendall); her siblings, JT Kendall and Mary Lee Kendall; and her siblings-in-law, John Hunt and Janice Kendall.
She is survived by: her children, Doralyn Cooley Rodriguez, Lealon "Buddy" Cooley Jr., David Cooley (Leigh Ann) and Marcie Koonce (Wesley); her grandchildren, Kourtni Verret (Jessie), Katie Saltzman (Matt), Kelsey Cooley (Wacey Manuel), Samantha Koonce and Sawyer Koonce; and her siblings, Judy Bennett, Jimmy Kendall (Gayle), Joan Hunt, Winston Kendall (Cassy) and Jerry Lee. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home (1810 W Fourth St, DeQuincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy (301 W 4th St, Dequincy, LA 70633). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Hyatt Cemetery (764 Hyatt Cemetery Rd, Merryville, LA 70653).
