She was predeceased by: her father Carl Smith. She is survived by: her mother Annita Smith Young; her husband Rodney Gentry; her children, Sariee'Daigle (Daniel), Christopher Gentry of DeRidder, Louisiana, Matthew Gentry (Stephanie) of DeRidder, Louisiana, Rodney M. Gentry (Karen) of San Diego, California and Tynisha Gentry Yates of San Diego, California; her siblings, Anita Mae Smith Burgess, Steven C. Smith (JoAnne), Calvin Smith, Martha Slawnikowski (Tim) and Dale Smith (DeAnna); and her sister-in-law April Smith. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
