With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Joyce Jensen of Dequincy, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Monroe and Maudie Rice Austin; and her sisters, Peggy Bell and Sarah Austin. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Jensen; her children, Simon Carter, Belinda Carter, Kenneth Carter (April) and Rebecca Fruge (Walter); and her grandchildren, Simon, Jr., Stephen, Veronica, Brandon, Kenneth, Jr., Heather, Brandy, Lloyd and Bobby.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home (1810 W Fourth St, DeQuincy, LA 70633). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
