He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Simmons, Sr. and Beverly Hambrick Simmons; and his sister Patricia Lee Luquette. He is survived by: his wife Janet Puerta; his daughters, Kandice Simmons King (Micah) and Krystal Simmons Henagan (Lance); his grandchildren, Kaci, Issac, Karson, Kaleb, Kenneth, Kade, Kyle and Konner; his siblings, Kathleen Simmons Crick (Lee), Kara Simmons Granger (Hal) and Kevin Simmons; and his friend Kermit.
