He was predeceased by: his father Curly Perkins; and his siblings, Willis Perkins, Hubert Perkins, Keith Allen Perkins, Ethel Matthews and Carrie Lummes.

He is survived by: his children, Christopher Perkins and Jennie Trinidad; and his siblings, Hamp Perkins, Fred Perkins, Shelton Perkins, Cecil Perkins, Janell Adams (Jack), Eva Rose Sauvarnt (Ray) and Joy Faye Ruef (Bernard). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
