She is survived by: her husband Joseph Franklin Shannon, Jr.; her sons, Joseph Franklin Shannon, III, Timothy Allen Shannon (Lorraine) and George Leonard Shannon (Reba); her grandson Trace Shannon; and her brother Keve Blacksher (Judy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
