He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Perkins and Annie Mae Perkins; and his siblings, DeWayne Perkins and Marie Aguillard. He is survived by: his wife Sammye Perkins; his children, Robin Dilley (Greg), Terry Garner (Mitch), Lisa Curry Brassieur (Ronald), Debbie Smith Perkins, Gary Perkins, Tom Curry and Harry Perkins (Amy); and his siblings, Alvin "Sonny" Perkins (Connie), Charles Milton Perkins, Charlotte Anne Perkins and Terry Perkins (Janice). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.

Back in November, we all had a great day together and Harry Jean still had his hearty laugh and infectious smile. But, it was not the same friend we all knew.”
