He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Bennett; his parents, Pete Bennett and Ethel Bennett; and his siblings, Doris Herrington and Bubba Bennett.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Bennett (Victoria); his stepchildren, Deanne Hemperley (Derek) and Larry Bennett (Joyce); and his siblings, Bessie Haley and Sambo Bennett (Sharon). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hargrove Bible Baptist Church (1427 Hargrove Loop, Dequincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Oretta Cemetery.
