It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Abdalla Sr. of Dequincy, Louisiana, who passed away on May 5, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Cleo Abdalla; his parents, James J. Abdalla, Sr. and Edna Gearen Abdalla; and his brother James J. Abdalla, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Mickey Lynn Marcantel of DeQuincy and Dr. Gerald "Bubba" Abdalla, Jr. (Karlyn) of DeRidder; his grandchildren, Kace Marcantel (Sarah) of Longville, Kili Reeves (Greg) of DeQuincy, Leslie McGuire (Josh) of Lake Charles and Megan Johnson (Timothy) of DeRidder; and his brother George L. "Pargie" Abdalla (Neelum) of DeRidder. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
