We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2021, at the age of 77, Essie Mae Bias (Dequincy, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert LeDay and Mary Roberts LeDay; her sons, Auguson Bias and Tony Bias; and her siblings, Priscilla LeDay, Donald LeDay and Milton LeDay.

She is survived by: her children, Leona McCoy, Fredrick LeDay (Nakole) and Sherry Snell (Walter); her siblings, Dalbert LeDay (Joyce), Hershel LeDay, Lee Aaron LeDay (Ethel), Russell LeDay, Phillip LeDay (Lisa), Valerie Larvadain (Gary), Sandra Ben and Eula Cullivan (Arthur); and her godchild Dalbert Jerome LeDay, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
