She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Perkins, Sr. and Lillie Roy Perkins; and her brothers, Edgar Perkins, Jr. and Howard Perkins. She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Royce Whatley; her children, Jim Roy Whatley, Lisa Whatley, Angie Whatley Duplechin (Todd) and Louis Whatley; her grandsons, B. J. Yellott and Todd Yellott; her great grandchildren, Bowdy and Jackson; her brother George Roy Perkins (MaryAnn); and her sister-in-law Lois Alston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
