He was predeceased by: his wife Andrea Weldon; and his siblings, Robert Weldon and Fredine Turner. He is survived by: his children, Doyle W. "Bear" Weldon II (Crystal Fontenot) of DeQuincy and Tracie Weldon of Lake Charles; his grandchildren, Haden Marcus Weldon and Landon Blaine LeDoux; his stepgrandchildren, Aubrie McGrath and Dylan Fontenot; and his siblings, Ruth Moore, Dorothy Ross and James Weldon. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
