She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey Youngblood and Ora Cripps Youngblood; and her siblings, Dolly Tate, Joyce Mahoney and David Youngblood.

She is survived by: her husband Lynn Spikes; her children, Dewey Hargrove (Shelia), Rev. D. G. Hargrove (Becky), Rev. Danny Ray Hargrove (Angela), David Hargrove (Allissa), Jeffri Spikes (Nichole) and Jerilyn Kendall (Corey); and her sisters, Minnie Cross (John), June Lawson, Diane Chandler and Linda Sue Youngblood. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
