He was predeceased by: his parent Felician Douget (Isabel Guillory Douget); his siblings, Helen Simmons, Jimmy Douget, Lenis Douget and Wilson Douget; his brother-in-law Daniel R. Bass; and his in-law Clarence Bass (Eula Mae Bass).
He is survived by: his wife Judine B. Douget; his children, Roger Douget (Kris) and Jody Douget (Rowena); his granddaughter Layla; his stepgrandchildren, Lauryn Young (Joshua) and Levi Hyatt; his great grandchildren, Emma, Jude and Jackie; and his siblings, Ronald Douget, Harold Douget and Lou Heckard Vianna Scoggins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home (1810 W Fourth St, DeQuincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hyatt Cemetery (764 Hyatt Cemetery Rd, Merryville, LA 70653).
