He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Smith and Delores Smith; and his siblings, Larry Smith, Gloria Smith and Sharon Hawthorne.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Lambert Smith; his children, LaDonna Jean Clark (Rick), Carroll Jason Smith (Myra), Shannon Royer (Scott) and Derek Smith (Sarah); his grandchildren, Travis Clark, Cody Clark (Cassie), Sara Royer, Elizabeth Wright (Steven), Emily Gilbert (Alex), Noah Gene Royer, Anna Ancelet (Chance), Heaven Royer, AnnaGrace Smith, Cade Smith and Aubrey Smith; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Aiden, Atticus, Wyatt, Cullen, Casen, Penny and Thomas.
