He was predeceased by: his parents, Linic Babineaux and Mabel Lavergne Babineaux; his daughter Pamela Benoit Mennie; his stepfather Whitley Lavergne; his sister Shirley; and his brothers-in-law, Lurlin Elkins and Terry Soileau.
He is survived by: his close friend Vesta Drake; his daughters, Jamie Cutright (Derek), Tessa Roy (Jason) and Lacey Blackburn (Chris); his grandchildren, Brayden, Dominic, Donovan, Erik, Camille, Kayla, Owen, Carter, Addysen, Ian and Collin; his sister Velma Soileau; and his close friend Harold Richard.
