He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lois Cooper Dahlquist; his parents, Andrew Dahlquist and Lorena Rice Dahlquist; and his siblings, Margaret, Joyce, Kenneth and Raymond.

He is survived by: his children, Eddy Dahlquist (Kim) and Rebecca Stanley (Jimmy) of DeQuincy; his grandchildren, Lindsey Guillot (Glen), Whitnee Brame (Ryan), Charlcee Dahlquist, Karlee Dahlquist and Nikki Singley (Jarrad); his great grandchildren, Lexie, Jacob, Hunter, Denton, Ivee, Payslee, Ramsee, Landon, Sicilee, Brendon and Lillian; his great great grandchild Grady; and his brother Wilbur Dahlquist (Verna).
